Don’t blame Beyonce, it was all Sasha Fierce who wanted to perform for the Libyan tyrant’s son

Contrary to what I previously reported, it was not Roman Abramovich who financed that New Year’s Eve concert with Beyonce on St. Barts; he had his own party somewhere else on the island. Moammar Gaddafi’s son, the appropriately named Hannibal, was the one who paid for it, but more on him later.

Who is Moammar Gaddafi, you ask? Long story short, he is the Libyan dictator who has been in uncontested power since 1969 (one of his sons tried to overthrow him) and oh yeah, he is also a terrorist. Upon naming the country “Libyan Arab Republic,” he wanted to become the Che Guevera of Africa (who I’m also not a fan of). He is responsible for the Lockerbie bombing, the 1986 Berlin Discotheque Bombing, and UTA Flight 772, collectively killing more than 442 and injuring over 230 (all of which is available at the source).

His son, Hannibal, is the Beyonce fan, reportedly paying her $2 million (mere pocket change to her) for her hour long performance. In case you’re wondering, Hannibal is an upstanding member of society. In 2004, he drove 90 mph while drunk down the wrong side of the street in central Paris. In 2008, he and his wife were detained in Switzerland after beating their servants, and to retaliate, Daddy held some Swiss nationals hostage. My favorite part of that incident, though, is that according to the Guardian, Daddy Gaddafi submitted a proposal to the UN calling for the abolition of Switzerland (does that make anyone else think of this?). Back to ol’ Hannibal, most recently, on Christmas day, he beat his wife until her nose was bloody and broken (Merry Christmas). And here Beyonce is, not only associating with someone like that but taking his money…
