Robin Thicke features Nicki Minaj in his song “Shakin it for Daddy.” I’m really a fan of this song, as Nicki Minaj continues to establish herself, meaning that she continues to kill it. I don’t know how someone can do it, verse after verse, song after song. But somehow she does. Weezy must have told her his secret, because she’s like a female version of him. It just doesn’t feel right (but it does feel awkward as hell), watching and listening to Robin Thicke shout “Young Money.” I think that this song might make more sense (in my head) if it was a Lloyd song, as they both have that semi falsetto going on. Nicki carries the song anyway, and Lloyd is actually affiliated with Young Money. I’d still love to hear this in the clubs, though. Maybe I would if I ventured out of my house into the cold…
