Never knew I’d like a song by a child

Lil Twist, I’m surprised to say, brings it with the help of Nicki Minaj on the “Old Enough” remix. I thought all he did was update twitter account 80 times a day saying he needs more followers and go on his ustream account telling people he needs more followers, but after listening to this I’ve learned he also likes playing with autotune. I know I sound like I’m hating, but I like the beat (produced by Maestro, of “A Milli” fame) and it kind of reminds me of Jamie Foxx’s “Digital Girl,” which is a good thing. Nicki kills it, and I continue to believe she’s a female version of Young Money. People can’t stop talking about Def Jam, with XXL’s cover featuring a random gathering of Def Jam artists and VH1 having that WACK tribute that I wasted 2 hours of my life watching. In a couple years I think Young Money will be the powerhouse, and Def Jam will be less relevant…nothing last forever. Except maybe Lil Twist’s love for “Mrs Lady,” but he’ll probably lose interest when he’s actually (legally) old enough.
