Drake is almost arrested in Jamaica, and it’s not because of his fake accent

Drizzy almost got thrown in jail down in Jamaica after yelling “Everywhere me go, me seh Jamaica to the bloodclot world” during Mavado’s performance at the BritJam Festival. Drizzy’s people quickly pulled him off stage so he could avoid trouble with the Jamaican police due to the strict profanity laws in Jamacia. Snoop Dogg and Ja Rule, as well as Beenie Man and Sean Paul, have been charged in the past for cursing while on stage. Since I didn’t know that “bloodclot” was a bad word in the figurative sense  (it’s not good to have a literal bloodclot, either, but not breaking any laws to say it) Urban Dictionary told me that it is the Jamaican equivalent of “fuck.”

Drizzy is currently working on his follow-up to Thank Me Later, titled Take Care. As usual, it’s too easy for me. He needs to “take care” while he’s down there be careful to not break the profanity laws. Although, it would probably give him some street cred (he probably has as much street cred as myself, or less, which is next to impossible) and a new depth to his music…

Also, it looks like I’m not the only one amused by Drizzy Drake’s accent
