Hot mess of the day – Consequence makes fun of the male working class in “Man Purses”

Music helps me learn so much. If it wasn’t for Beyonce’s Bangladesh-produced track “Diva,” I wouldn’t know that a Diva is a female version of a hustla. And now, thanks to Consequence, I have learned that “man purses” are briefcases and messenger bags…and possibly backpacks? This is Consequence’s video for “Man Purses,” which is his Kanye diss track (“GOOD music ain’t been the same since Amber Rose and Taylor Swift”). I find the video to be humorous, with him standing next to guys with messenger bags and pointing them out on the sly to the camera.

Anyway, I don’t know how he expects men to carry laptops, files, and whatever things needed for work that don’t fit in your pockets.
