Lupe Fiasco explains why he hates his album Lasers

Lupe covers this month’s Loud & Quiet magazine, and it’s probably safe to say that the interview was deeper and more serious than I or the person interviewing him expected. Definitely worth a read, though. You can read the scans over at the LupE.N.D. Blog.

If you haven’t already, you can preorder Lasers from his website, or from any traditional outlet for that matter (not PayPal, though). I ordered the package that includes a Lasers shirt, and I bet people will think I’m an anarchist for wearing it, just like when people asked me if I was a “college dropout” for wearing a Kanye West sweatshirt that said “The College Dropout.” I don’t know why I would advertise that…or how people could be so isolated from pop culture.
