Happy Birthday, Grandpa Drake

Drake turned 25 years old today (October 24th in case you’re 12 hours ahead of me, what up Krizzle). I might make a similar post to this next year, expressing my disbelief that Drizzy is less than 5 months older than me. I think the fact that he’s a mega celebrity makes him immune to aging (as if that really makes sense) but he also doesn’t really dress his age.

The lesson to be learned here is that if you want people to think you’re older than you are, dress like a grandparent would dress. For the record, one of my grandpas is far more dapper than Drake. I don’t think he’d be caught in an ensemble such as this.

I do have to say, as Drake gets older, I do like his music more, which is somewhat ironic because 25 isn’t old. Whereas I didn’t even want to listen to Thank Me Later, I’m actually looking forward to Take Care. I have enjoyed “Headlines,” and “Make Me Proud” has been stuck in my head for the last two days, and surprisingly, I’m not hating that. Should I note that the Young Money Bawse was in prison for most of the recording of this album?
