13 years after Biggie was murdered…

While the homicide of Biggie remains unsolved some 13 years later, a special task force has since been assembled after receiving new information a few months ago. Two unnamed sources confirmed to this CNN, but did not go into detail due to the fact that it is an ongoing investigation.

Retired LAPD Detective Russell Poole told CNN that he believes Suge Knight ordered the hit on Biggie to retaliate for Tupac’s unsolved murder, and that Reggie Wright, Jr., who did security for Death Row Records, orchestrated it.  Not surprisingly, both men have denied any involvement.

Poole told CNN that I think I was getting too close to the truth. I think they feared that the truth would be a scandal.” He retired early, saying that he was thwarted in following leads that involved fellow members of the LAPD. It shouldn’t come as a surprise to you to know that some of those LAPD members also worked off duty for Death Row Records.
I’m not quite sure what I think about the whole Biggie murder. In 1997, I was 10 years old, so….yeah.  A lot of people seem quick to discredit conspiracy theories, and while I don’t necessarily believe in all of them, it wouldn’t surprise me the least bit if, for example, LAPD covered up Biggie’s murder. Or, perhaps, it is something far more scandalous that no one is even thinking of….
MEANWHILE, Biggie’s friend Puffy is sailing around on a yacht powered by an iPad, still making music (unfortunately), and has changed his name more times than I can count.
