Lil B disses Rhymefest, and Rhymefest is not amused
Lil B and Rhymefest beefing? Who would have thought, especially since they both tend to champion positive and uplifting messages in their respective music, from what I have not spent a lot of time listening to.
Lil B was on CNN radio the other day since, well, he’s the self-proclaimed Lady Gaga of rap. I actually don’t know why he was on CNN, although probably because he named his album I’m Gay. Whether he’ll move a million point one units in the first week like Gaga remains to be seen, but I wouldn’t bet any money on it. Lil B and CNN talked about topics including the name of said album, his parents, his “joke” about sexually assaulting Kanye, and then Rhymefest.
CNN: You’re big Twitter fan, and recently rapper Rhymefest tweeted that after he spoke to California artist Xzibit and listened to your music, his response was, “Homeboy needed a dad in his life.”
Lil B: I’m going to say, who is Rhymefest? So he needs to work on promoting and marketing himself, because I don’t know him. But what I feel about his comment is that it’s true, I needed a father figure in my life, but I’m not complaining about that. What do you mean, I need that? Tell Rhymefest I’m very happy. Tell Rhymefest I actually wake up and I’m happy, and I’m positive and I love people. Ask Rhymefest, does he feel the same way?
As evidenced by his twitter timeline, Rhymefest sounded a little offended that Lil B claimed to not know who he is. I mean, he won a Grammy for co-writing “Jesus Walks” with that one guy that Lil B threated to sexually assault over twitter. And he lost a political election. What’s his name again? But now that I think about it, and sit here laughing, because pretending that you don’t know who someone is, is probably the best diss possible!
Rapper Lil B on ‘I’m Gay’: ‘We’re all one people’ – http://bit.ly/lablpp #cnn he dissed me how cute. Tell Lil B Rhymefest is the guy who didn’t have to lie about his sexuality to get attention. Tell lil B Rhymefest doesn’t need trickery to change the world in a positive way. Most of all I’m making new music now, so please tell LilB to WATCH HIS MOUTH!
Lil B, watch your mouth. Rhymefest wanted me to tell you that.
Oh and Rhymefest, Lil B wanted me to tell you that he’s very happy. He actually wake up and he’s happy, and he’s positive and he loves people. Lil B wants to know, do you feel the same way?
