Hot video – Pac Div ft. Casey Veggies & Skeme “Top Down”

Simply put (I was going to say “clichely put,” but I don’t think “clichely” is a word), Pac Div is killing it lately. Their video for “Top Down” is great. There is nothing terribly revolutionary or groundbreaking about it, but I still love it. It goes to show that you don’t need a huge budget to make a great video…said the blogger who knows nothing about music videos. Anyway, I love watching videos where I’m genuinely excited about what I’m seeing.

Like “Posted” earlier in the year, “Top Down” is a slapper. A pleasantly surprising slapper to me, for that matter, since I still haven’t copped The DiV yet, even though I need to. I’ve kind of been holding out for an iTunes giftcard, but with two singles as strong as these, I should just get it. Plus, I’m never mad at a Casey Veggies verse, nor am I mad at the inclusion of Skeme, who happens to be on tour with Dom Kennedy right now. As usual, Swiff D’s production is in a class of its own. California is owning it this year. C-A allllllll day, as EV would say.
