My Top 10 albums of the year!

Posted at January 1, 2011 by Comments Off

I like reading other blogs’ top ten or whatever lists, but I don’t like making my own. If you know me outside of my blog, then you’ll probably know that I’m very indecisive, so I can blame it on that. To make it even more difficult for me, there was a lot of quality music this year, so much so that it overwhelmed me at times.

When you glance over my list, keep in mind that it changes depending on who I feel like listening to on any given day; I might feel emo one day, and for that day, Cudi will rank higher than Kanye. That is just the nature of the beast, or if we’re talking about Kanye, the “monster.”

I’m just linking my reviews since I’ve already rambled about them (with the exception being B.o.B’s No Genre mixtape, in addition to a couple other mixtapes).

My Top 10 list that changes depending on my mood

10. Nicki Minaj – Pink Friday
7. B.o.B – No Genre (mixtape)

Can you guess what album is #1? Hit the link to see that, and some honorable mentions
4. Shawn Chrystopher – You, And Only You
3. Kid Cudi – Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager
(Cudi had my favorite cover artwork)
1. The-Dream – Love King
(Not only my most anticipated album of the year, but also my most listened to album)
Honorable mentions (in no particular order)

Shawn Chrystopher – The Audition
(“Like a Kid Again” appears in my iTunes twice because I bought it as a single and as an album; added up, that would have been my most played song in 2010)
Drake – Thank Me Later
(Drake is the corniest rapper of the year)
Wiz Khalifa – Kush & OJ
Laws – 5:01 Overtime
