Who knew Tyga was going to be on “The Motto?” Anyone? Anyone at all? Who is Tyga? Kidding, but who would have thought that he’d be stealing the video and stunting on everyone else involved? Not that it’s difficult to stunt on someone wearing lime green moon boots…

Jokes aside, I really like the the video for “The Motto.” October’s Very Own crew members Lamar Taylor & Hyghly Alleyne (pronounced: highly align, I’m guessing?) were responsible for the visuals. It’s simplistic, clean, and I like the sped up special effects images throughout. Plus, like everyone else has said before me, and will continue to say after me, it’s cool how Drizzy is paying homage to the Bay Area artists, like E-40 and Mistah Fab, with them making cameos.

I could mention how humorous it is when Drake is trying to act all tough in the beginning, while driving and wearing his leopard print Supreme and Northface jacket with bright red Nike gloves, but…well, I just mentioned it. Anyway, my favorite part of the video is at 1:28 when Drake is dancing around in circles.
