2 Chainz on now being known as 2 Chainz

2 Chainz is that guy that we’ve heard on basically every track in the last year, and it doesn’t look like he is showing any indication of slowing down his hustle. I’m not mad at that, though, because it’s like he brings the trap to the most seemingly un-trap songs.

Mostly in my head, I’ve tended to refer to him as Tity Boy/2 Chainz (I’m not sure if I’ve written that on Tha Blog, and I’m too lazy to fact check myself), but I guess 2 Chainz is now more like the artist formerly known as Tity Boy. If you’re wondering, yes, I do find it ironic that he thinks “2 Chainz” is more family friendly name, considering nothing that he raps about is family friendly.

Moreover, you know it took him hella to think of that slippery slope of an explanation as to what “2 Chainz” means. I mean, 2 Chainz as a second chance, or more appropriately, the second rebranding of himself? Yeah, that’s clever. Maybe if I ate a big bowl of kush for breakfast, I could think of really weird shit to say, too.
