Figurative shots fired: Lil B owns David Banner’s “Swag?”

Lil B goes in on one of my favorite songs from 2011, which coincidentally was David Banner’s satire on the state of hiphop that includes Lil B and his use of “swag.” Yes, Lil B, no one is arguing that you own “swag.”

I’m going to be honest when I say that his energetic based flow was wholly unexpected. I was impressed. Of course, he’s still off tempo, (is that a Lil B trademark yet?) so some things never change even though I have a feeling that that is intentional.

As usual, Lil B’s Youtube descriptions are almost more entertaining than what he’s rapping about, or showing in the video.

All in all, a gallant effort on The Based God’s part, but I would still take David Banner’s version.
