Hot video – 2 Chainz “Riot” #TrapTuesdays
How clever. A riot for 2 Chainz' song "Riot," in a scene that is vaguely reminiscent of "Run This Town." I see where Decatur Dan is going with that...and fire captivates my attention almost as much as pretty lights. And yes, I'm super jealous of Decatur Dan's alliterated name. Julie J is close, but not nearly that cool. 2 Chainz debut album Based on a T.R.U. Story is dropping this summer via Def Jam, I believe. I still haven't listened to his T.R.U. Realigion mixtape, mostly because the copy I downloaded was corrupt, and his simp features put me on the fence about him. It will be interesting to see how his journey compares to that Nicki Minaj's. Homegirl built her buzz so high with all her features, which seems like the path 2 Chainz has gone down since rechristening himself from Tity Boi to 2 Chainz. For the record, I always enjoyed Nicki's features more than her own songs, so it'll be interesting to see if that's the case with Tity Boi. I've had this burning question for a while: is 2 Chainz singlehandedly keeping the True Religion brand alive?
