Hot video – B.o.B ft. Lil Wayne “Strange Clouds”

I really didn't have high expectations for this because Lil Wayne has fallen from grace in my eyes, but perhaps more significantly, I kind of forget that B.o.B can rap because he's always singing. I've always liked his rapping, though, and I'm reminded me of that on occasion. When "Strange Clouds" played on MTV Jams the other day, I was immediately entranced. Prior to watching the video, I hadn't even heard the song. It's remarkable how I've managed to avoid hearing certain songs this year, like "We Found Love" by Rihanna. I love all the pretty cloud special effects, and it's actually comforting to me for some bizarre reason to see T.I. in the video. Yet, as the name of the song suggests, there is some strangeness in the video. Homegirl trying to be all sexy while sitting on the horse, for example. And...Lil Wayne looks like a lil weirdo. That fanny pack... I'm at a loss for words. The only thing missing is a #birdmanhandrub.

Can you tell that Tyrese wants to be on the cover of Vibe?

Image via Crunk+Disorderly Tyrese announced over Twitter that he really wants to be on the cover of Vibe. Not The Source, or XXL, or National Enquirer, or People, but Vibe. I'm not even entirely sure what he's been up to lately, or in other words, what he's done to warrant being on any magazine cover. Didn't he sing at one point? I am predominantly familiar with him for his work in The Fast and The Furious movies. Paul Walker...oh hai. In addition to looking super fine in this picture, he is giving Tyrese the identical facial expression that I would be giving him, if I were standing next to him. Twitter sure makes people act a fool, more so than any other social networking site in history (I swear). I am of the opinion that no, it really isn't alright to tweet everything. Sure, we live in a "free" country, for now at least, but sometimes I think, "Would someone be embarrassed to be associated with me if they saw this tweet?" And then I delete it if I even have to think about it. You know what's really funny? One time, I was out with a group of people, and basically one of the people was tweeting about me, which I saw because we started following each other later. I should have favorited that one. It almost made me feel like an internet celebrity for about 15 seconds. Spotted at Crunk + Disorderly

J. Cole subtly tells Twitter to stop gossiping about him

Rumor on the street is that Rihanna and J. Cole made a sex tape while on the Loud tour, and Radar is reporting that Hustler is saying that they're in possession of the tape. Should I be using the word "alleged?" I dunno. I seriously don't even care, and I'm only posting about this because J. Cole's tweet that I just saw is so unoriginal. OHHHH SHIT. Last night, some broad stole J. Cole's phone out of his pocket while his crew filmed it. Exhibit A and B (gotta hover since my hyperlinks are the same color as my text). Anyway, the day after his phone gets stolen, there's a potential sex tape? That's almost as curious as the fact that this is happening a month before his album is set to drop. This alleged sex tape comes a week after J. Cole read that Jay-Z called his album classic...except the quote for said article came from J. Cole himself, who was repeating what someone told him. Oops. No confirmation if he's got that Hov verse, either. Despite the fact that I sound like I'm making fun of J. Cole, on the whole I would consider myself to be a fan. "Work Out" bores me, but I really enjoy "Can't Get Enough" with Trey Songz, and not only because Trey Songz's fine self is featured on the track. Cole World: The Sideline Story drops on September 27th, along with a ton of other albums, including Big K.R.I.T., Yelawolf, Phonte, Evidence, and 9th Wonder. Can you guess whose album I'm most excited for?

Racks on racks on racks…AKA Mess on mess on mess

I saw someone tweet that if you can understand more than 30% of what YC is saying in "Racks on Racks," then you should be in NASA. I can agree with that sentiment. After watching this, I kind of think that YC doesn't even know what he's saying. You see, this is where Beyonce comes in. She explains stuff like "A diva is a female version of a hustler." If anyone could help a blogger out, I bet the almighty Beysus could translate this. CyHi Da Prynce and B.o.B both look like they went on a shopping spree gone wrong at Forever XXI, but I'm not judging. I might just be a little upset because CyHi's shirt looks like something I would want to wear. I guess the other 10 rappers weren't available to stand in front of a green screen to shoot this video. Waka could have at least sent over an animated Fozzie Bear to sing in autotune.

Diamond gets a face tattoo

Diamond joins her southern brethren and gets a bullet tatted on the side of her face. At first, I thought it was a lipstick tube, and that was before I knew that her new single is "Red Lipstick." But, it's a bullet, and she tweeted that picture with the caption "In life: you only get one shot! Remember dat!" . At least it isn't glaring like a ice cream cone or pink duck, right? You know, I always kinda liked Diamond. But then, I read about how both her and her boo Lil Scrappy had their respective homes foreclosed on. On the foreclosures, she said “people all the time. Donald Trump does it. If a person can’t understand that, then they’re stupid.” So yeah, after that, I assumed she was crazy. And I guess that explains the bullet we see on the side of her face. What is it with these southern rappers and their tattoos? From ATL, Gucci Mane, Yung LA (his counts twice), and also Weezy and Birdman ("Star Head").

Waka Flocka Flames’ Peta Ad…

Waka Flocka Flames' Peta Ad is here, and it's probably a good thing that he brought his camera and Fozzy Bear along for the ride...  The ad itself looks kind of like a really cheaply designed event flyer (curiously, much like the one for his Seattle show).I'm kind of at a loss for words, if you couldn't tell. It amuses me, though, that he's completely untoned, flexing his (absent) biceps, and smirking for the camera.

Chris Brown blames the Devil for Media Takeout obtaining more pictures of what he did to Rihanna

Remember when Chris Brown did community service and he still managed to look like a tool while doing it? For some reason, that instance is what I thought of, and I guess it's partially related to what I'm writing about because Media Takeout posted a couple more pictures of when he beat up Rihanna (I won't link to it because it's sad/disturbing, but if you want, you can go be Sherlock Holmes over at Media Takeout). Of course, having attempted to put it behind him, and with a new album being released soon, Chris Breezy wasn't very happy about it. They should know better...making him mad (cheap blow, guilty). Some people just shouldn't have twitter, and Chris Brown should be one of them. Remember when he quarreled with Raz B? That's exhibit A, and Exhibit B is below:It’s ironic how “somebody” put this out right around my album time! Wow! I guess that’s supposed to be a strategic chess move! Unbelievable.  The Devil is always busy!! But when u have a destiny, nothing or no one can stop what god has planned!Of course the tweets have since been deleted where he blames the devil for Media Takeout getting those photos. I love his random use of quotations...that always amuses me. And "strategic chess move." But if we're going to talk about ironies, and destinies, based on what he says, it sure sounds like he is saying that it was his "destiny" and in "God's plan" to beat up Rihanna. No wonder those had to be deleted. What a dummy.Despite that, I'm more likely than not still going to get F.A.M.E. when it drops. I love "Deuces" and "Look At Me Now" ...

Kanye West tweets about abortion and makes a bunch of people mad

As usual, I don't see the big deal about what Kanye West says about anything, and for this installment, the topic of his choice is abortion and gold digging bitches (part A and part B). Yes, cue up "Golddigger" and then keep reading.an abortion can cost a ballin' nigga up to 50gs maybe a 100. Gold diggin' bitches be getting pregnant on purpose. #STRAPUP my niggas! It ain't happen to me but I know people.Aside that he's pretty factually inaccurate about the actual cost of abortions (it hasn't happened to him so how would be know?), as a female, I don't see the big deal. It's a well-known fact that girls get pregnant on purpose, and they are "gold diggin' bitches!" I can't imagine bringing a child into this world under those pretenses and for that purpose even though I'm not fond of kids (understatement of the century). And, if you're wondering, hoes and bitches are girls, but not all girls are hoes and bitches. Me? I'm definitely more of a bawse.I can't tell if the media is just blowing this out of proportion because it's Kanye, or if he did this on purpose. After all, he is no stranger to controversy (see trying to get his album cover banned). But then again, I felt bad for him when he tried to make a joke and basically got reprimanded for it. So, I don't know if he purposely wanted attention (probably), but I do know that what he said is far less incendiary than other news outlets are making it out to be.

“All of the Lights” is simultaneously seizure-inducing and biting another video

The Epilepsy Action Organization issues a press release yesterday that was apparently picked up worldwide in regards to this video causing seizures, and triumphantly wrote today that "The Kanye West video has been taken off YouTube!" Since then, "All of the Lights" has been resurrected with the above warning message. I personally thought Rihanna's "Rude Boy" video was more seizure-inducing, but what do I know?In other "All of the Lights"-related news, I saw on GMK's site the other day that "All of the Lights" isn't as original as everyone thought. Although it is debatable where influence stops and biting begins, the intro with the flashing lights of the text in Kanye's Hype Williams-direct video looks oddly similar to the opening sequence to Enter the Void, by French filmmaker Gaspar Noé.It's not as blatantly obvious as Rihanna's video biting David Lachapelle's work or Yung LA getting the Duck Tape Entertainment logo tatted on his face, but it still makes you wonder. Well, it still makes me wonder.
